Roasted Butternut Baked Fries
Ingredients
- 1 medium butternut
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- heat oven to180°c. lightly coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- peel skin from butternut and cut into even sticks, about 1 cm wide and 3cm long. in a medium bowl, combine the squash, oil, thyme, rosemary, and salt; mix until the sticks are evenly coated.
- spread onto the baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes. remove the baking sheet from the oven and shake to loosen. place back in the oven and continue to roast for another 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
